Specific tours for Visitors from Japan



We organize tours specifically addressing the wishes of our Visitors from Japan.

Different tours are possible. Hereunder a few examples:

Tour nį 1 (half day tour):
- 13:30 meeting at Dinant Railway Station
- drive through Dinant and Anseremme for the "helicopter viewpoint" (from the cliffs) over Ch‚teau de Freˇr (Renaissance castle and French gardens)
- drive to Ch‚teau de VÍves (medieval castle) for visit from the ouside (no time for visiting inside if we want to go to Durbuy)
- drive to the small village of Celles. Walking in the village and visit of the old church (romanesque style)
- drive to the smallest town in Belgium: Durbuy. Walking in the old streets and see the memories of the visits of Royal Families (including the Royal Family of Japan). Durbuy is also a sister town of Hanyu (outside Tokyo. Depending on intrest, we can also pay a visit to the Marcloff micro-brewery at the Ferme du ChÍne (including small movie in japanese), or pay a visit to the topiary garden.
- Expect return Namur Railway Station at about 17:00 - 18:00.

- free time for lunch, or a lunch (menu) in a local restaurant with your table overlooking the Meuse river
- leave Dinant via Anseremme for the "helicopter viewpoint" (from the cliffs) over Ch‚teau de Freˇr (Renaissance castle and French gardens)
- drive to Ch‚teau de VÍves (medieval castle) for visit from the ouside (no time for visiting inside if we want to go to Durbuy)
- drive to the small village of Celles. Walking in the village and visit of the old church (romanesque style)

Other places of intrest can be accomodated on request. For example: Ch‚teau de Modave, Ch‚teau de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne, Namur (old town and citadel), ...

The fastest and easiest way to reach Dinant is by train. Check for the (usually direct) trains from Brussels (as well as from any other town in Belgium, like Brugge, Gent or Antwerpen) on the website of the Belgian Railways.
